Stella induction from Stella Dexin is a commercial induction range for Indian kitchens: 37 models across buffet drop-ins, 3.5 to 5 kW cooking units, three-phase ranges, warmers and griddles. If you run a restaurant, hotel, banquet hall, cloud kitchen or canteen and are comparing induction equipment, this guide explains what the Stella range covers and how to pick the right unit.
What is Stella Dexin?
Stella Dexin (written StellaDexin on the website) is a Delhi-based supplier that concentrates on one product line: commercial induction. From its office in Badli, Delhi, it supplies kitchens across India.
Because the range is a single family, every model is documented with its model number, power rating and cut-out size. A chef or kitchen consultant can draw the counter before the order is placed.
You will also see the brand written simply as Stella, for example "Stella TS-3501". Model codes such as TS-3501, TSD-12A1 and TS-200C02 MSW make a unit easy to quote when you call or message for a price.
Why commercial kitchens switch to Stella induction
Induction heats the pan itself, not the air around it, so less heat is wasted, and Stella Dexin states that its units boil up to 50% faster than gas or conventional electric (a supplier claim, so confirm it on a trial unit). A copper coil under a sealed glass top creates a magnetic field that heats only the vessel sitting on it. Four practical benefits follow:
- Instant, direct heat. Less waiting between orders, and less energy lost to the room.
- Steady temperature. Heat holds where you set it, so long services and delicate preparations stay consistent from the first cover to the last.
- A cooler kitchen. Almost no heat escapes into the air, so the line is easier to work on and the ventilation load drops.
- Easy cleaning. One sealed glass surface with no grates, burners or flame paths, so it wipes down in a fraction of the time.

Which Stella induction for which station
Start from the job the station does, then match power and footprint. Every Stella model lists its cut-out size, so the counter can be drawn first.
| Station | Stella models | Power |
|---|---|---|
| Buffet and live counter | TS-678, TS-22C01A drop-ins | 2.2 kW |
| Holding food at serving temperature | TS-200C02 MSW induction warmer | 2000 W (1000 + 1000) |
| Everyday cooking line | TS-3501, TS-3502, TS-3503 | 3.5 kW |
| High-heat and wok work | TS-50C01, TS-50B1-W2 wok model | 5 kW |
| Griddle station | TS-18C05 small induction griddle plate | 1800 W |
| Hotel, banquet and institutional kitchens | TSD-12A1 and other TSD floor-standing ranges | 8 or 12 kW, 440 V |
| Four-zone table-top range | TS-3504DX | 3.5 kW per zone, 415–440 V three-phase |
A few rules of thumb:
- Buffets: use a drop-in when the counter can be cut, or the table-top housing version when it cannot.
- Main line: the 3.5 kW units cover everyday cooking, and the 5 kW unit takes the high-heat work.
- High volume: one three-phase range often makes more sense than several countertop units, because it concentrates power and floor space in one place.
- Carving and display: add a carving station with twin heat lamps for live carving counters.

Before you order: supply, cut-out and cookware
Three checks save the most time and rework.
Electrical supply. The heavy-duty Stella ranges (TSD-8A1, TSD-12A1, TSD-8C1, TSD-12C1 and TSD-3D4) are rated at 440 V, and the four-zone TS-3504DX needs 415–440 V three-phase. Buffet, warming and countertop units have lower ratings. Check the figure on each model page and confirm your kitchen's supply with an electrician.
Counter cut-out. Drop-in models list their cut-out size, for example 314 × 314 mm for the TS-678, 270 × 345 mm for the TS-22C01A and 651 × 484 mm for the TS-200C02 MSW warmer. If the counter cannot be cut, the TS-678 and TS-22C01A also come in a table-top housing.
Cookware. Induction needs a pan with a magnetic base, such as cast iron or magnetic stainless steel. If a magnet sticks firmly to the underside, the pan will heat. Aluminium, copper, glass and clay will not work unless the pan has a bonded magnetic base.
Stella induction: frequently asked questions
What is Stella induction?
Stella induction is the commercial induction range supplied by Stella Dexin across India. It covers buffet drop-ins, 3.5 and 5 kW cooking units, double-zone units, three-phase ranges, warmers and griddles, plus warming stations, carving stations, heat lamps and meat mincers.
Which Stella induction is best for a restaurant or hotel kitchen?
It depends on the station. The 3.5 kW TS-3501, TS-3502 and TS-3503 cover everyday cooking, and the 5 kW TS-50C01 or the TS-50B1-W2 wok model handle high heat. High-volume kitchens usually move to an 8 or 12 kW TSD range or the four-zone TS-3504DX.
Do Stella induction ranges need a three-phase supply?
The heavy-duty ones do. The TSD ranges are rated at 440 V and the TS-3504DX at 415–440 V three-phase. Check each model page and confirm your supply with an electrician.
Can Stella induction be built into a counter?
Yes. Drop-in models list a cut-out size, and the TS-678 and TS-22C01A also come in a table-top housing.
Is induction more energy-efficient than gas?
Yes. Induction heats the vessel directly, so it loses far less heat to the kitchen than gas. Stella Dexin states that boiling is up to 50% faster than gas or conventional electric; confirm this on a trial unit.
Where can I buy Stella induction in India?
From Stella Dexin in Delhi, which supplies the full range to kitchens across India.
